3.2 Some definitions

span of set of vectors given set $S=\{{\mathit{v}}_1,{\mathit{v}}_2,{\mathit{v}}_3,\cdots \}$, then the span of $S$ is the set $W$ of all possible linear combinations of elements of $S$.
