9.35.2.1 How do I put text over symbols?

This is difficult for me to explain, but how do I put words over a symbol? For instance, I want to add words over an equal sign. Anyone know the command/syntax for that?
Also adding ^ doesn't cut it.....

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/digest?cta=question&id=87650

I have trouble spell checking my document in TeXstudio. When I press spellcheck, I get the error No dictionary Available. Am I supposed to install a dictionary separately? How? Any suggestion?

9.35.2.5 Using the \tab Command

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/digest?cta=question&id=198432

I have seen several cases of people using the \tab command to insert a specific amount of space between objects (as opposed to the \hfill command which uses any remaining space). However, I have ...

I use
\inclugraphics[scale=TRYING TO GUESS THE NUMBER FOR PAGE WIDTH]{...}
but I find this errorsome, is there some ready flag to set the image to page width? I usually use PNG and JPG photos.
