I'm having some slight issues with citation styles. I want Harvard style citations, in the form of (Bethe, 1939). Here is my code:

1.20.3.2 Getting TexLive Recommended Fonts after installing MacTex-2015 on El Capitan

1.20.3.3 \includegraphics not working with xelatex for PDFs with images in them

I switched to using xelatex so I could use a specific font, but now some images don't render. 
Here's a simplified example that illustrates the failure:
