I am trying to use LaTeX Workshop in VSCode to compile my tex file. I have no idea why it can not successfully compile it. The error log is as follows:

When does TeX update \pagetotal dimension? 
when does TeX update \tracingpages result? 
Why doesn't TeX update both of them at the same time?

7.48.3.3 Chapter labeling issue on Lyx

I am creating a book document in Lyx in Italian using the standard book class. 
On the display I am shown chapter labels in Italian (correctly), but when I preview the document as PDF the label changes ...
