I am very much a novice with Maple. In fact I have just ordered my first copy of Maple (R4).
I am interested in Maple applications to chemical kinetics in all its forms and at all levels, ie from first years undergraduate to research level.
If you apply Maple to these problems then I am very interested in hearing what you do and how you do it; including libraries you have created.
PS I have contacted Prof M. H. Holmes directly regarding his ( and Bells work) on Maple Kinetics.
With regard to your request for any routines relating to chemical kinetics, you should perhaps look at chapter 6 of "First Leaves - A Tutorial Introduction to Maple V" in which you will find a simple application of isolve to balancing a chemical reaction.
Perhaps you’ve already seen this, but it would be useful for pedagogical purposes.
