8.19.2 Willard, Daniel Dr (28.3.00)

Because it intrigued me, I have translated your chess worksheet to Maple V Release 5.1 for a PC, which is what I have.

It will "execute", but in this version I cannot make the plots for board0, etc., to execute because a plot won’t execute if it is named, even with a semicolon at the end; Accordingly the board0 instruction won’t execute because all elements are themselves names of plots.

I am sure there must be some way around this, but I am not expert enough in Maple to find the route to success. Is there one?
